Custom Woodcraft Earns National Sales Award

Custom Woodcraft of Central Indiana was recently awarded the bronze sales award by Golden Eagle Log Homes while attending the National Meeting on September 12 & 13 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI.  This award recognizes that Custom Woodcraft was third in sales for the year of 2010.  Custom Woodcraft has shown an outstanding level of professionalism in their approach to selling log homes.  The competition between Golden Eagle Log Homes Dealers in 28 states was very high but Custom Woodcraft’s efforts in marketing, advertising, and serving their customers has proven to be the backbone of their success.

Jay and Tod Parmeter, owners of Golden Eagle Log Homes, recognizes Custom Woodcraft’s efforts and attribute their hard work to making 2010 a very successful year for the company.  Golden Eagle is committed to following a course that will ensure its dealers thrive in today’s complex and changing business world.   “To this end we provide the most complete log home package on the market today.  Over seventy-two log options, six corner systems and an award winning plan book featuring over 75 floor plans, will please the aesthetic tastes of almost every customer.”

Custom Woodcraft confirmed that 2010 was a challenging year, one that forced them to think of different ways to conduct their business; and to find qualified customers.  “The feeling all year was to think out of the box, to look into new areas for shows and advertising that we did not consider in past years.”

“When a customer needs to see a particular type of home or log style, we take advantage of the Travel Bucks program that is offered by Golden Eagle Log Homes; this helps pay for the customers trip to Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin.  There they will see the 23-acre manufacturing facility, 8,000 sq. ft. showroom and the 2,688 sq. ft. professionally decorated model home.  This allows prospective customers to see exactly what they are considering; decision making becomes easy.”

Custom Woodcraft is thankful for all the help they receive from the community and invites everyone to visit our website at and contact us for additional information.
